Robert Walker

Robert James Walker, 78, of Gosnell died Friday, June 17th at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, MO. He was born in Bronx, New York on Sept. 13th, 1937 to James Albert Walker and Edna Bauer Walker. He served his nation in Vietnam in the U.S. Air Force and served as a retired American Greetings.

He is preceded in death by his parent, James Albert Walker and Edna Bauer Walker; one sister, Edna June Walker, and one brother, James Albert Walker Jr..

He is survived by his wife Vui Thi Tran Walker of Gosnell;

Two daughters, Jaqueline Stokes of Etowah and Victoria Maupin -- Baker City, OR;

Two brothers, Hai "John" Walker of O'Fallon, Illinois and Robert James Walker III of Liberty Hill, Tx.;

One sister, Charlotte Ventre of Frisco, TX and Barbara Faust of Ablemarle, NC;

Ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The visitation will be held on Monday, June 20th between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. The Funeral will be the following day, June 21st at 2 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. The burial will be held at the Sandy Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Freddie Adams as the officiating minister.
