Robert England, Sr.

Robert Lee England, Sr., age 84 of Manila, went to be with his Lord and Savior as he passed from this life Wednesday June 1, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Couch, Missouri he was the son of the late Joel and Jesse Callahan England and was a 1950 graduate of Couch High School.

He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War and had been a Manila resident for the past 55 years. Bob was the former longtime office manager for the Bush Brother's Canning Company in Blytheville and later retired from American Greetings in Osceola. He was of the Christian Faith.

Survivors include; his wife of 63 years, Wilda Susan Cossey England of the home,

1 son and daughter-in-law, Michael D. and Mary England of Jonesboro

A daughter-in-law, Pennie England Williams

5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2pm Saturday June 4, 2016 at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. James Chipman officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Saturday from 12:30 until service time at the funeral home.
