Vivian Lucille Hancock, 86, of Houston, died May 3, 2016 at Heartland Healthcare in Houston. Born May 21, 1929 in Marianna, Ark., she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Smith and Magnolia Webb Smith, first husband Sam McKinney, second husband Arthur Hancock, daughters Castella Dyer and Foreest McKinney-Stewart, and three grandsons.

Mrs. Hancock leaves four daughters, Benoit (Jimmy) McKinney-Hopson and Dorothy Hancock of Houston, Annette (Joe) Hancock Jackson of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Barbara (Joe) Young-Banieh of Blytheville;

Six sons, Arthur Mae Hancock, Paul (Carolyn) Hancock, Eddie Young, Robert Young, and Albert Young, all of Blytheville, and Greg (Danielle) Johnson of Gosnell;

36 grandchildren, 45 gerat grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 12 at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services, officiated by Elder John Murphy, will begin at 1 p.m. following visitation.
