Irma Knowles

Mrs. Irma Jeannie Knowles, 63, of Biloxi, Miss., died April 28, 2016 at Serenity Springs Health Care in Biloxi.

She was born in Blytheville, the daughter of Otis Patton, Jr. and Frankie Love Patton. In later years, the family moved to Chicago, where she attended school. Later years, she married Lawrence Knowles, who preceded her in death. Lawrence was in the military, and the family moved to many places before settling in Clarksville, Tenn. She was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville.

Survivors are a daughter, Cetris (David) Webb of Biloxi;

Two sons, Lawrence L. Knowles of Clarksville and Terrance (Whiten) Knowles of Jonesboro;

Two grandsons, William J. Waits, III and Tyrees Knowles;

Three granddaughters, Tearney, Taylor and Tarryn Knowles;

Three great grandchildren, Landyn, Jaiden and Airreyona Waits of Shreveport, La.;

Three sisters, Sharon Patton of Memphis, Angelia (Marc) Dowler of Dayton, Ohio, and Taylisha (Alfred) Barnes of Jonesboro; and

Nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 6 at McDonald-Horne Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 7 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 600 E. McHaney, Rev. Odale Jones, Pastor.
