Charlene Harris

Charlene Hoskins Harris, 85, of Blytheville, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at Heritage Square Nursing Home in Blytheville.

Born to I.T., Sr. and Edna (Aycock) Walker, Charlene was retired from Gosnell School District where she was the cafeteria manager and drove the school bus. She loved the outdoors and going water skiing, fishing, and other outdoor activities.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, J.W. Hoskins and Bill Harris; and her parents.

Charlene leaves her brother, I.T. Walker, Jr. and his wife Reva of Gosnell;

Sisters, Agnes Cavanaugh and husband Audie of Gosnell, Mary Ellen Ray of Gosnell, and Brenda McCanless Jalliff of Gosnell;

One nephew; three nieces; four great nieces; three great nephews; one great-great nephew; and one great-great niece.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 17th at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Hyde officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bethany Baptist Church Building Fund. The family also wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Legacy Hospice and Heritage Square Nursing Home for the love shown to our beloved Charlene.
