Georgia Bell Cox, 89, of Halfmoon, was called home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 3, 2016 at her home in Halfmoon.

Born to Bill and Eva (Warren) Overton, Georgia was a true homemaker. She liked to work in her yard and fish. Georgia was a Born Again member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Her children, grandchildren, church, and home were her life. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen H. Cox; three brothers; 4 sisters; grandson, Scott Deason; and one great grandchild, Baby Hope.

Georgia leaves her children, Dorothy Sue and James Tucker of Louisiana, Bonnie House of Blytheville, Diane and Chris Randolph of Sheridan, Ark., Vickie and Mac Carter of Enola, Ark., Rev. Robert Cox and Norma Cox of Halfmoon, and Roger and Jane Cox of Manila;

Brother, Junior Overton of Blytheville; and

128 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 7th at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
