Ricky L. Tramble, 56, of Blytheville died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Baptist Hospital in Memphis.

Ricky was born in Blytheville, the son of Gene and Mildred Robinson Tramble. His father, Gene Tramble, Sr. and brother Kevin Tramble preceded him in death. Rick was the fourth of nine Tramble children.

As a child, Ricky confessed a hope in Christ as St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, where he was baptized. During his illness, he always had a positive outlook and never complained. His favorite words were "I'm straight."

He was a graduate of Blytheville High School and had been employed at Nibco. Rick, best known as "Slick Rick," was known for his outstanding personality and character. He never met a stranger and enjoyed socializing and telling jokes. He enjoyed his family and friends. He was also an outstanding basketball player during his high school years.

Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Mildred Tramble;

One daughter, Ms. Candice Tramble;

Three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Tramble (T.C.) Wheeler, Mrs. Bonita Tramble Honorable and Mrs. Constance Tramble (Tony) Hollis;

Four brothers, Gene Tramble, Jr. of Blytheville, Anthony (Sue) Tramble of Blytheville, Jerome (Kathy) Tramble of Little Rock and Kendall (Sharon) Tramble of Jacksonville, Ark.;

Longtime good friends, Johnny Wilkerson and Timmy Lee Smith;

Special friends Will Frazier and Anita Pugh Walker;

Nieces, nephews;

Four aunts, Rosie Tramble Shaw, Helen Allmon, Birdie Tramble, Mildred Lattimore;

One uncle, John Robinson; and

other relatives.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Gospel Temple Church of God in Christ, located at 1108 David Lane, Elder Charles Thomas, pastor. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Gospel Temple Church of God in Christ.
