Donna Coleman Swinford, 58, of the Walnut Community and beloved wife of Richard Swinford, passed away Monday, Jan. 25, 2016 at The Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth.

A native of Blytheville, Mrs. Swinford had been a resident of the Walnut Community for the last 15 years. She was a member of the Charity Church in Chalybeate and will be remembered for her love of arts and crafts. She was a collector of antiques and enjoyed frequenting yard sales throughout the area.

She also leaves her children, Crystal Swinford and Adam Wilson (Christie) of Walnut, Amy Wilson of Hughes, Monica Barnes (David), Jason Swinford (Brookes), of Ripley, Roger Swinford of Booneville, Thomas Watson of Tiplersville, 14 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She is the sister of Wayne Coleman of Blytheville, Debra Britt, Alice Riley and Shirley Shaw all of Ashland, Mavis Hunt of Walnut and Danny Tucker of Gulfport.

A visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28 at The Ripley Funeral Home.

Funeral Services honoring the life of Mrs. Swinford will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with burial in Charity Church Cemetery at Walnut.
