Mrs. Frankie Jean Kelley, 82, of Holland, Mo. Died Sunday, December 13, 2015 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Born May 19, 1933 n Pots Camp, Miss. To the late Willie Irene Buffington Sands and the late Elmer Cleveland Sanders, she attended school in Lost Cane and later completed her GED. She was a faithful member of the Holland Baptist Church.

After World War II Jean met her future husband Dalton P. Kelley at the Walker Park swimming pool in Blytheville. They were united in marriage on November 17, 1947 in Osceola. Jean was a wife, mother and a homemaker.

Her husband Dalton was an army man. Jean, Dalton and their daughter Phillis lived in Hawaii, Washington, Kansas, Virginia and Georgia during Dalton's military career.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Dalton P. Kelley, three brothers Walter C. Sanders, Elmer C. Sanders, Jr., William A. Sanders and one sister Ruby Lanita Sanders.

Surviving Jean are her daughter Phillis Kovaks, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and a very special friend Dianne Mitchell.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Holland, Missouri Baptist Church. Burial fill follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele. The family will receive visitors from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 015 at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele.
