Ms. Toshika Danielle Wheeler, 37, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in Memphis, Tennessee. She was born on January 14, 1978 to Gail and Reed Wheeler, St. of Blytheville. Toshika was blessed to have received double portions of parents and many brothers and sisters.

As a teen, Toshika developed a personal relationship with God. She chose to become a member of Southside Church of Christ. She played basketball for Blytheville High prior to graduating in 1996.

Toshkia loved being around family and friends. She enjoyed sports, from basketball, to football and of course her beloved Dallas Cowboys. After moving to Memphis, she met a special group of people and became a par to the Cowboy Stars of Memphis Fan Club, proving her even more friendships.

Toshika's maternal grandfather, Theodore Bates, Jr. and both her paternal grandparents, Martha and George Wheeler, preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory her partner of seven years, Tonya Rhodes;

Parents Gail (Tony, Sr.) Betts of Blytheville and Reed (Debra) Wheeler, Sr. of Hannibal, Mo.;

Four brothers, Tony Betts, Jr. of Birmingham, Ala., Reed Wheeler, Jr. of Hannibal, Mo., Robert Betts of Atlanta, Ga. And Christopher Clark of Tyler, Texas;

Two sisters, Deshona (Carson) Dean of Byhalia, Miss. An Candice (Jerry) Haskins of Hannibal, Mo.;

Grandparents, Margaret-Ann (Willie) Bronner of Blytheville, Robert and Carrie Betts of Blytheville, Vinnie Davis-Jones of Blytheville;

Parents-in-love, Dorothy and Earle Rhodes of Memphis, Tenn.;

Two sisters-in-love, Leonette Rhodes and Tanessa Bennette, both of Memphis, Tenn.;

One brother-in-love, Gerald Madden of Memphis, Tenn.;

One niece, Jeriah Haskin;

Five nephews, Kameron Betts, Carson Dean, Jr., Jerry Haskin, Jr., Jayden Haskin and Jeremiah Haskin;

One Goddaughter, Jacqueline Stewart;

Three Godsons, Tyshon Dodd, Winsley "Pete" Henry, IV and Deondre Henry; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 7782 Poplar Pike, Germantown, Tenn. 38138. The time is yet to be determined.
