Mrs. Jean J. Campbell, 81, of Wallingford, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the home of her daughter.

She was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Ethel McClodden Mills and Rufus Johnson. She was raised in Blytheville and was an honor graduate of Harrison High School. She received a Bachelor Degree in Sociology from A. M. and N. College (UAPB) and a Masters Degree from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. She taught for about 33 years in the Blytheville School District as a fourth grade teacher. During her career, she was selected as Teacher of the Month and served as Vice President and President of the Blytheville District Education Association.

While living in Blytheville, she was an active member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and served as choir director, pianist and organist, Sunday school teacher and bible study teacher. In 1990, she moved to Little Rock and joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church and sang in the choir. In 2011, she moved to Wallingford, Pennsylvania and joined First United Methodist Church of Germantown, Pennsylvania.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her three siblings, John Mills, Jr., Shirley Mills Campbell, Charles Etta Fletcher and her grandparents, John and Stella McClodden.

She instilled her love of God and education into her three children. She is survived by her two sons, Charles (Shirley) Mouton of Blytheville and Carl (Arlene) Mouton of Little Rock;

Her daughter, Cabrina (Kim) Campbell of Wallingford, Penn.;

Two sisters, Mrs. Bettye Mills of Saginaw, Mich. and Mrs. Stella Flake of Memphis;

One brother, Roy C. (Sharon) Patton of Saginaw, Mich.;

Fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousin Davie Adams, and other cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1630 West Street, with Pastor Johnnie E. Moore officiating and Rev. M. L. Smith as the Eulogist. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.
