Davis McMillian

Davis McMillian, 91, of Osceola, passed away October 13, 2015 in Memphis. Born May 21, 1924 to the late Henry McMillian and Ida Blanchard McMillian, he was a farm worker and veteran of the U.S. Army.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Ella Morgan and brothers, J.C. McMillian and Henry McMillian.

He is survived by his wife, Nola Ewing McMillian;

Six daughters, Margie Parker, of Osceola, Mariam Brown, of Osceola, Debra Giuliana, of St. Louis, Mo., Mary Sue Penn, of Waco, Texas, Glenda Guyton, of California, and Carolyn Marner, of St. Louis, Mo.;

Three sons, Martin Wilson, of Blytheville, Wayne McMillian, of St. Louis, Ark., and Davis McMillian, of Osceola;

Two sisters, Zella Gladney, of Mississippi, and Frances Watson, of Marked Tree;

Two brothers, Esaw McMillian and Eliss McMillian both of Una, Miss.;

He also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. with Elder James Crockett officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
