Smoke free car and home campaign announced

The Mississippi County Coalition For a Tobacco Free Arkansas is launching a "Smoke-free Home and Car Campaign". The coalition is seeking to educate parents, law enforcement and community members on the effects of secondhand smoke, Act 811, and the benefits of a tobacco-free lifestyle. The Mississippi County Coalition For A Tobacco-Free Arkansas has set a goal of making 750 homes, cars, and public facilities in Mississippi, Craighead, Crittenden and Poinsett Counties smoke-free through their campaign. The Mississippi County Coalition For A Tobacco Free Arkansas is funded by the Minority Initiative Sub-Recipient Grant Office. For information on quitting tobacco call 1-800-QUIT-NOW.
