Eugene Branch

Mr. Eugene Branch, 51, of Osceola, died Sunday, July 26, 2015 at South Mississippi County Medical Center in Osceola.

He was born in Osceola, the son of Sugene Branch and Berthtiall Yankaway Branch. His father preceded him in death.

After leaving Osceola to join the Job Corps, he completed the requirement for his GED.

Eugene had worked at many of the local industries. Lastly, he was employed by Tenaris.

Mr. Branch is survived by his wife, Mary Barber;

His mother, Mrs. Bethtiall Pearson;

Two daughters, Brittney Branch and Calandra (Fred) Davis;

Five sisters, Mrs. Stacey (Kenny) Travis, Mrs. Mary (John) Alexander, Ms. Marquita Branch, Ms. Deborah Bernard and Ms. Glenda Parker;

Five sons, Robert (Shatrina) Bornes, Eugene Branch III, Jarvis Branch, Mario Barber and Travis Smith;

Nineteen grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 1st at 11 a.m. at the Promiseland Church of God in Christ, S. Highway 61, in Osceola with Elder Johnny L. Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Promiseland Church of God in Christ in Osceola.
