Keith Austin
| Keith Edwin Austin, Sr. perished on Thursday, July 16th at the age of 49 years old. He served in the United States Navy as an Airman, and received a letter of recommendation for S.E.A.L. training by his Company Commander. Keith was a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, a lifetime member of the International Dean's List Society, and was nominated by the President of Nicholls State University for the "Who's Who" of American Universities. |
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Louis Edwin Stevenson and Ruby Aurelia Stevenson;
His paternal grandparents, Rev. Jim Austin and Dorothy Austin;
His cousin, Billy Waybe Stevenson.
Keith was a family man, as he spent most of his time educating his son to be a responsible individual, and enjoyed conversations with the rest of his family.
He leaves behind his parents, Roy Austin and Annie Stevenson;
His son, Keith Edwin Austin Jr.;
His sister, Monica Lousie Kent and her husband Robert;
His two nieces, Jaden Isabella Kent, and Elliott Aurelia Kent;
As well as numerous family members and friends.
The Seale Funeral Home is overseeing all of the funeral arrangements. The Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, in Denham Springs on Monday, July 20th from 9 am until Celebration of Life Service at 11 am. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.
