David Zielinski

David A. Zielinski, age 48, of Monette formerly of Blytheville, passed from this life Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro.

Born to James S. Zielinski and Dottie Wilson in Blytheville, David was employed by Outokumpu Stainlesss in Calvert, Alabama. He enjoyed deer hunting, rabbit hunting, fishing, and working in his yard. David was a true outdoorsman. Years ago, he helped coach baseball and softball, and he played with the Blytheville Casons. He enjoyed watching his son Seth play baseball and basketball over the years. He loved just being home with Mallie and Kim. David liked the Memphis Tigers and to watch Nascar. Jeff Gordon was his favorite driver. He loved his dogs, Bo and Bell.

David is survived by his wife, Kim Gallant Zielinski, of the home; His father, Jim Zielinski of Memphis; His mother, Dottie Rafnson of Blytheville; Two children, Seth Eatmon and Mallie Zielinski of the home; One brother, Steve Zielinski and his wife Christi of Daphne, Ala.; One brother-in-law, Kody and Ashley Gallant of Cooter, Mo.; His mother and father-in-law, Rickie and Judy Gallant; Five nieces and nephews, Jordan, Alexa, and Eli Zielinski, and Henley and Gates Gallant.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Funderburk officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
