Franziska Grandegger-Kelley, 89, of Blytheville, passed from this life Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Born to Johann and Wilhelmine Synder Grandegger in Wiesbaden, Germany, Franziska was employed as a food service tech for Baptist Memorial Hospital, formerly in Blytheville, and was of the Catholic faith. Many of her hobbies included sewing, gardening, crocheting and reading. Enjoying life with her family is what Franziska loved the most.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Hans Grandegger; and a sister, Katie Hood.

Franziska is survived by her husband, Lon Kelley of the home;

Three children, Peter Kelley of Huntington Beach, California, Debbie Knight and her husband Lee of Dell and Bobby Kelley and his wife Deborah of Blytheville;

A brother, Willi Grandegger of Wiesbaden, Germany;

Two grandchildren, Peter Kelley Jr. of Huntington Beach, California, and Dustin Polk and his wife Amber of Gosnell; and

Two great-grandchildren, Aubrey Lee and Davis Kyle Polk.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Cobb Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Kelley Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time.

As a cancer survivor, the family requests, in lieu of flowers, any memorial donations be made to the local cancer Relay for Life, St. Jude Hospital or the Blytheville Humane Society.
