James Edward "Jim" Graham

James Edward "Jim" Graham, 72, of Blytheville, passed from this life Saturday, April 18, 2015, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Mr. Graham was born in Blytheville to Haskel Davis and Bobbie Lucille (Rustin) Graham. He was a retired detective from the Oklahoma City Police Department and retired from the city of Blytheville, where he worked in Code Enforcement. Jim was a God-fearing Christian man, who loved his family, horses and always looked for the best in people. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert David Stevens; and a sister, Patty Oxford.

Jim is survived by his wife, Nancy Graham of the home;

Two sons, Cody Graham and wife Robin of Edmond, Oklahoma, and John Stevens and wife Serene of Memphis;

A daughter, Dixie Pittillo and husband Scott of White Hall;

A sister, Billie Penrod of Shertz, Texas;

Two brothers, Doug Graham of Rogers and Bob Graham of Texhoma, Oklahoma; and

Six grandchildren, Taylor, Bailey, Ellie Grace, Jackson, Charlie and Ramey.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
