John E. Dunigan Clay

John E. Dunigan Clay, 61, of Blytheville, died Thursday, April 9, 2015, in Blytheville.

Born March 16, 1954, in Proctor, Arkansas, he was a retired factory worker and a member of Mount Moriah MB Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, L.A. Dunigan and Jettie Harris Clay; a sister, Betty Jean Clay; a granddaughter, Angela Clay; and two brothers, Joe Willie Clay and Ben Dunigan.

Mr. Dunigan leaves his fiance, Emma Mayberry of Hayti;

Four daughters, Aronda (Eric) Greene, Adrianne Clay and Angela Clay, all of Blytheville, and Natalie (Noah) Clay Johnson of Jonesboro;

Quinton Clay of Blytheville, who was like a son;

Three sisters, Ada Williams, Janie Williams and Betty (Sammy) Reddick;

Four brothers, Claud (Jeanette) Clay of Washington, D.C., Charles (Vickie) Clay of Little Rock, Lee Clay of Blytheville and Cleophus Dunigan of Kennett;

Thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and

The mother of his children, Darlene Hudson Clay of Blytheville.

The family will received visitors Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Theodis Rucker, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Mount Moriah MB Church. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery.
