Otto S. Gordon, 85, of Blytheville, passed from this life on Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Great River Medical Center.

Mr. Gordon was born on Aug. 30, 1929, in Delark, Arkansas, to Joseph McVay Gordon and Annie Bell West. He was owner/operator of Otto's Hardware, a retired farmer and was involved in real estate. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served his country with honors during the Korean War.

Otto was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the American Legion and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by a son, Spencer Dale Gordon; eight brothers; and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Harris Gordon of the home, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Smith and the Rev. Robert White officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon-1 p.m. Wednesday at Cobb Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be made to the Spencer Gordon Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of Bonard Mace, 600 Highway 181, Blytheville, Arkansas.
