Carol Ann (Carr) Ladner, 75, passed away the evening of April 1, 2015. Born in Springfield, Missouri in 1939, Carol lived an amazing life. At Arkansas State College she was at the top of the Business Administration program graduating in 1961, Who's Who among Students in American Universities & Colleges 1960 -- 1961, the treasurer of her Phi Mu sorority, Captain of the cheerleading team and the Homecoming Queen. Her most cherished role was as beloved wife, mother, grandmother.

Over the course of her remarkable life, Carol lived in Branson, Mountain Home, New Orleans, St. Croix, Bermuda, Chicago, and Maryland, finally returning to make her home in Maumelle, Arkansas, where she was a vibrant member of her community. Carol served as an officer of the Maumelle Newcomers Club, the Maumelle AARP chapter and as a member of the Maumelle Lions Club in addition to being a member of the Maumelle First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Trenton and Roberta Carr, as well as her brother-in-law Charles Robert Hinson.

Her greatest joys were her loving marriage to Douglas Randall Ladner for over fifty years who survives her along with her children Chris (Anne), Trent (Leslie);

Grandchildren: Madeline, Emilie, Ryan and Alexander;

and her sister-in-law Carol Ann Hinson, nephew Dale and niece Brenda.

She leaves behind numerous friends and a loving family who adored her.

A memorial service was held at the Maumelle First United Methodist Church on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Arrangements by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR (501) 224-8300.
