Robert Lee Walker, 75, of Manila passed from this life on Thursday evening, March 19, 2015, at his home.

He was born on Oct. 25, 1939, in Norfolk, Virginia, to James Walker and Frances Greene Walker.

While living in Virginia, he owned a printing company for more than 20 years. After moving to Arkansas, he worked many years at Barton's Lumber Company in Manila and Osceola. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Walker enjoyed doing things outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, boating, jet skiing and camping. Most of all, he liked spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed building things; in fact, he and his wife built their own house.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Walter, Richard, James and Rudolph Walker.

He is survived by his wife, Frances of Manila;

One son, Robert (Bobby) Walker of Tampa, Florida;

Three daughters, Stacey Walker of Blytheville and LeAnne Walker and Karen Walker, both of Tampa, Florida; and

Several grandchildren.

There will be a public visitation from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Carney Funeral Home in Blytheville.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Manila Cemetery in Manila.
