Billy Byrd

Billy Byrd, 82, Marked Tree, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was a farmer and was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Lucille Byrd; two step-daughters, Doris Watkins and Marie Sipes; and one half-sister, Betty Green.

He leaves behind two daughters, Pamela Byrd of Bassett and Sandra Byrd of Okemah, Oklahoma;

Four step-daughters, Lisa Zitt of Fairfield, Ohio, Kathy Ridge of Marked Tree, Patricia Kirkpatrick of Lepanto and Diane Robinson of Brush, Colorado;

One step-son, Ronnie Kirkpatrick of Marked Tree;

One sister, Mary Helen Duncan of Tyronza;

One half-sister, Janie of Summer, Tennessee;

One half-brother, Floyd of Summer, Tennessee; and

A host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Byrd will be cremated. Wilson Funeral Home Tyronza is charge of arrangements.
