Mrs. Rosie Lee Gills, 87, of Blytheville, died Sunday, March 1, 2015, at her home. Born Aug. 8, 1927, to the late Johnny Roots and Mary Tate, she was a homemaker and a member of Prince of Peace where she served on the mother board.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Gills; one son, William T. Bealim; one grandson, Mack Bealim; one sister, Willie Mae Davis; and one brother.

Mrs. Gills leaves two daughters, Sarah Phelps of Blytheville and Diane Harris of Maywood, Illinois;

He grandchildren, Sandra McGee of Benton Harbor, Michigan, Durriyyah Kemp of Lyle, Illinois, Shaqueynae Phelps and Diane Bealim, both of Blytheville, and April Vincent of Ypsilanti, Michigan;

One lifetime friend, Jessie O. Hudson; and

Jean, the neighbor who helped through it all.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Prince of Peace with Timothy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens. The family will receive visitors from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Prince of Peace.
