Donnie Sprouse

Donnie Sprouse, 64, of Gosnell, passed from this life Sunday Feb. 15, 2015, at Delta Medical Center in Memphis.

Donnie was born in Steele, to Jesse James and Ocie Etta (Eaton) Sprouse. He served in the U.S. Navy. Donnie was a retired machinist for Randall Company. He loved to ride bikes and was of the Pentecostal Faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and his first wife, Barbara.

Donnie is survived by three sons, Gary Sprouse and his wife Renita, Terry Sprouse and his wife Andrea, all of Blytheville, and Seth Sprouse of Gosnell;

Three daughters, Robin Self and her husband Kevin of Gosnell, Ashley LaForest of Warner Robbins, Georgia, and Brianna Sprouse of Little Rock;

Five brothers, J.C. Sprouse of La Bella, Florida, Bob Sprouse of Wilburn, Missouri, Larry Sprouse of Fort Myers, Florida, Johnny Sprouse of Belle Glade, Florida, and Bill Sprouse of Chicago;

Four sisters, Ruth Burns of Blytheville, Ruby Brown of Blytheville, Peggy Moody of Jonesboro and Dorothy Sanders of Memphis; and

Nineteen grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held Thursday at Cobb Funeral Home with Deacon Bill Brandon officiating. Burial followed at Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele. The family received friends Wednesday.
