Elizabeth Louise Ward, 84, formally of Osceola, passed away Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, in Whitehouse, Tennessee.

Born Jan. 14, 1931, to the late Willie and Liller Burgess, she was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church Osceola, a member of Union Chapel General Baptist Church in Portland, Tennessee, and retired from American Greetings.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Ward; twin sons; two daughters, Barbara Nichols and Kathryn West; two sisters, Willie Kuykendol and Carrie Bennett; one brother, Thedore Burgess; and her parents.

Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth Webb of Portland, Tennessee;

Her grandchildren, Krista Landry (Allen) and Kevin West, both of Osceola, Joseph Nichols and Hunter Nichols, both of Jonesboro, Alyson West of Gosnell and Kimberely Blaise and Jeremy Wells, both of Nashville, Tennessee:

Her great-grandchildren, Rebekah Landry, Stephen Landry, Dylan Stewart, Logan Landry and Cayden West, all of Osceola, Kyler Nichols of Manila, Coby Nichols of Keiser, Piper Jones of Gosnell, and Caycee Wells, Owen Blaise, Sydney Blaise and David Wells, all of Nashville, Tennessee; and

Her great-great-grandchildren, Wesley Stewart and Madelyn Stewart, both of Osceola, and Addelyn Nichols of Manila.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-Swift Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ermen Lane Cemetery.
