Shirley Bridgers

Mrs. Shirley Bridgers, 67, of Wilson, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014, at South Mississippi County Regional Medical Center in Osceola.

Born Aug. 6, 1947, to the late Herbert Strop and Bill Moore, and Reatha Strop Tomlinson of Osceola, she was a retired factory worker and owner of Cake Creations and a member of Nodena Baptist Church.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sally Bridgers; and one brother, Bobby J. Moore.

Mrs. Bridgers leaves her husband, Charles Brodgers of Wilson;

Two daughters, Saneita (Jeff) Rea and Regina (Al) Lunsford of Caraway;

Two sons, Jeff Bridgers and Jackie Bridgers of Wilson;

Four sisters, Linda Saletto and Pam Batchelor, both of Osceola, Martha Hicks of Prescott and Retha Osborn of Paragould;

Three brothers, Billy Moore Sr., and Mike Strop, both of Osceola, and Buddy Strop of Bono; and

Her grandchildren, Darrin Brothers of Memphis, Chaney McLean and Landen Lunsford, both of Caraway, and seven other grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Bro. Mike Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
