Lynne Johnson Wells

Lynne Johnson Wells, 55, of Jackson, Tennessee, and formerly of Blytheville, passed from this life Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014, in Nashville, Tennessee.

She was born in Blytheville to W.R. "Bill" and Joyce (Luallen) Johnson.

Lynne was a retired teacher and a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was also a very dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing the piano, gardening and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Cary Wells of Jackson;

A daughter, Kristi Auberry and husband Josh of Lebanon, Missouri;

Two sons, Brandon Scott and Bryan Scott and wife Tara, all of Bella Vista, Arkansas;

A step-son, Andrew Wells of Jackson;

A brother, David Johnson and wife Sherry of West Memphis;

A sister, Jeanette Hart and husband Randy of Atlanta, Georgia; and

Three grandsons, Taygen Scott, Tyler Scott and Zach Auberry.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Pankey officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
