Jerry Wayne Carr

Jerry Wayne Carr, 67, of Osceola, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born in Keiser to the late James Carr and Nina McGuire Carr, he was a security guard at Viskase, a member of New Life UPC Osceola and attended the Senior Citizens Center faithfully.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jeff Carr; two sisters, Imogene Caldwell and Linda Faye Walker; and one brother, Howard Leon Carr.

He leaves behind a daughter, Amy King of Osceola;

A son, James (Debbie) Carr of Osceola;

Two sisters, Shirley Ann Moss and Sue Heugel, both of Osceola;

A brother, James Thomas Carr of Keiser; and

Eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at New Life UPC in Osceola with Brother Tim Doran officiating. Burial will follow at Manila Cemetery.
