Estella Poe Dortch

Estella Poe Dortch, 96, of Rogers, a former longtime Leachville resident and widow of Lee Roy "Pete" Dortch, passed from this life Friday Nov. 14, 2014, in Rogers.

Born in Leachville, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Blanche Bean Poe and was a retired seamstress. She had lived in California for over 30 years before returning to Leachville in 1994. She and her late husband, Pete, were longtime members of the Leachville First Baptist Church. Mrs. Dortch had spent the last few years in northwest Arkansas, near her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Crawford and Jerry Lee Dortch.

Survivors include three brothers, Frank Poe of Benton, Howard Poe of Little Rock and James Lee Poe of Leachville;

One sister, Alma Jean Phillips of Cabot; and

Four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville, with the Rev. David Price officiating. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery.
