Eliouse Weathers Scrape

Eliouse Weathers Scrape, 86, of Blytheville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Blytheville to the late Howard and Mary (Brittain) Jackson, she was a lifelong Blytheville resident. She was retired from the Burdette School District and was a member of 13th and Main Street Church of Christ in Blytheville. Eliouse loved antiques, cooking and tending to her flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, H.C. (Buddy) Weathers Jr.; a grandson, Johnny Cohoon; and a son-in-law, Gary Brownlee.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Scrape of Blytheville;

Three daughters, Gwen Brownlee of Blytheville, Shirley Cohoon and John of Bedford, Texas, and Deanne Schafer and Ronald of Carlisle;

One son, Hugh Weathers and Donna of Blytheville;

Six grandchildren, Renee Sisk, James Williams, Bo Weathers and Amanda Weathers, all of Blytheville, Lee Schafer of Carlisle and Nicole Norman of Bedford, Texas;

Four great-grandchildren, Myranda Williams, Robylene Williams, Justin Sisk and Nick Sisk, all of Blytheville;and

Three great-great-grandchildren, Shayla Shillingford of Bedford, Texas, and Michael Clark and Colton Sisk of Blytheville.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Greg Groves officiating. The family will receive visitors from 1 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
