Caleb Matthew Talkington

Caleb Matthew Talkington, 23, of Appleton, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014.

The son of Matthew Talkington and Tracy Lynn Allmon Talkington, he was born May 4, 1991, in Russellville. Caleb was a 2009 graduate of Hopewell High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was a Pipe Fitter with Carolina Piping in Charlotte. In Caleb's younger years, he enjoyed participating in many different sports. He loved spending time riding around with his friends and listening to music. Most important to him was spending time with his daughter, Jayla Danielle Talkington.

He is survived by his mother, Tracy Lynn Macan and husband Ron of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and his father, Matthew Scott Talkington of Surfside Beach, South Carolina;

One daughter, Jayla Danielle Talkington of Lamar, Arkansas;

One brother, Taylor Zane Talkington of Virginia Beach;

One sister, Laci Nicole Macan of Virginia Beach;

His maternal grandparents, James and Carolyn Allmon of Almo, Kentucky; and

His paternal grandparents, Shirley and R.C. Henderson of Appleton, and Ronald Talkington of Russellville, AR.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville. The Rev. Matt Slaughter will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. A live simulcast of the service will begin at 1:30 p.m.
