To the editor:

Volunteer participation was great for the Cleaner Safer Blytheville fall cleanup.

With the help of BI&M, who donated rolloffs and hauled off debris to the landfill for us that day. I can't thank Charlie and Steve Rose enough for helping out our city. We also got help form Mr. Harold Goolsby himself. On his day off, Mr. Goolsby brought a rolloff out. Another one of our local business taking time out to help our city.

United Rental was also apart of our Cleanup. Without the bobcat we got from them, the daunting task going through alleyways would have been impossible. We appreciate Brandon and the crew at United Rental. We also want to thank MO-AR Communication for the use of their radios. This was extremely helpful to our captains being able to keep in touch with everyone. Thanks Mr. Cash and Mr Lyons.

Our county judge, what can one but he'sawesome. Thanks for helping our city. We love you and are in my prayers everyday. Thank you so much Judge Carney.

We want to thank all of who came out and helped in our CSB Cleanup. We also want to thank all the one's that couldn't make it, but kept us in your prayers for a safe day. I can't start to tell you how much you all mean to this city. You have an authentic vision for our city. A real concern, a realness in the direction of where our city needs to go, and again, I want to thank you. You came out and picked up trash, cooked food, mowed lots and donated your precious time; that is the main reason you have received the volunteer community award for the third year in a row. Thank you.

I want to give a very special thanks our very BPD, Mike Godsey and the Emergency Squad crew, Healing and The Hood, Daddy's Diamonds young ladies, Rough Ridders, Family Dollar Store, Blytheville Public Works Department (you guys are awesome). And I also want to thank Pastor Howard Smith for being the host church for the cleanup. Thank you so much and my God continue to shower his blessing down on you. We have the best pastor a city can ask for -- you guys are always praying for our city and helping when you are need. I can't start to tell how much you mean to our city and to CSB. Awesome is the only way to describe you. Thanks so much for taking time of you all busy schedule to help our city. May God continue his blessing upon you.
