Georgia Ann Carson

Mrs. Georgia Ann Carson, 92, of Lepanto, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born March 1, 1922, to the late Jim Anders and Mary Mosier Anders, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Vickie Roberts and Allie Swan; and five brothers, William, Eddie, Oliver, Shorty and Andy Anders.

Mrs. Carson leaves her husband, J.T. Carson of Lepanto;

Two daughters, Patricia Fires of Marked Tree and Guanna Combs of Lepanto;

One son, John Henry Carson of Hot Springs;

One sister, Audrey Summers of Rochelle, Illinois; and

Three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Tyronza with Jeff Heitman officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Nichols Cemetery in Marked Tree. The family will receive visitors from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Tyronza.
