Harry "Sonny" Lee

Harry "Sonny" Lee, 69, of Blytheville, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.

Born June 4, 1945, in Talahatchie County, Miss., he was retired and was of the Baptist faith.

His parents, John Lee and Ida Lee Cole Williams, preceded him in death, as did two brothers, John Lee and William Lee.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia (Leon) Chew of Carrollton, Texas, Danita Whiteside of Blytheville and Nancy Whiteside of Chicago;

One son, Harry Smiley of Marion, Iowa;

Four sisters, Odessa Lee of Denver, Colo., Delores Lee of Louisville, Ky., Helen Lee Rogers of Chicago and Shirley Caples of Blytheville;

Five brothers, James Lee of Daytona Beach, Fla., Willie Lee of Blytheville; Edward Lee of Chicago, Eneal Lee of Chicago and Earnest Williams of Gary, Ind.; and

21 grandchildren and 72 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memory Gardens.
