Mary Lee Anderson

Mrs. Mary Lee Anderson, 87, of Marked Tree, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Mississippi on April 18, 1927, Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and a member of Gatewood Chapel CME Church.

Her parents, Lee Junior McKinney and Pearl Vaughn Jones, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Person Anderson Sr.; two daughters, Diane Smith and Lillian Crockett; two sons, Leroy Anderson and Person Junior Anderson; two sisters, Essie Mae Jones and Lillie B. Jones; and two brothers, Daniel Jones and Ozzie Jones.

She is survived by four daughters, Charlene Anderson and Pearlie Snow, both of Marked Tree, Dorothy Bobo of Memphis and Patricia Anderson of Holly Springs, Miss.;

Three sons, Charles Lee Jones and Bruce Anderson, both of Marked Tree, and Terry Lee Anderson of Grand Junction, Tenn.;

Three sisters, Arlene Gorman, Jewel Palmer and Huelean Jackson, all of Holly Springs;

One brother, Andrew Jones of Memphis;

Thirty-four grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hudsonville CME Church in Holly Springs, Miss., with the Rev. Bobby G. Wilson officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Hudsonville Cemetery in Hudsonville, Miss.
