Paul Robert "Bob" Sandberg

Paul Robert "Bob" Sandberg, 88, formerly of Winter Park, Fla., passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014, in Melbourne, Fla.

He came to Florida in 1941 from Canton, Ohio. He was a graduate of Winter Park High School and served in the U.S. Navy during World Ward II. Bob was employed by Boeing Company at the Kennedy Space Center, and later became proprietor of Shakey's Pizza Parlor in Orlando, Fla. Bob also worked for the Department of Elections in Volusia County, Fla. Bob was a loving and devoted husband for 59 years, a wonderful father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Frances (Fran) Bright Sandberg;

His children, Carl Robert "Skip" Sandberg (wife Debbie), Charles David

"Chuck" Sandberg (wife Kelsie) and daughter, Cindie Bright Calise;

His grandchildren, Chelsea, Chad, Chase, Cord, Callee, Cameron, Anthony and

Melanie; and

His sister, Ada C. Green.

Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Albert A. Sandberg.

The family will receive friends from 11-11:30 a.m. Saturday, with an 11:30 a.m. funeral service at Collison Family Funeral Home, 3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, Fla. Interment will follow at Palm Cemetery in Winter Park.
