Mrs. Mary Lee Gaston, 78, of Blytheville, died Friday, June 27, 2014, in Blytheville. Born Nov. 10, 1935, in Dumas, she was a retired factory worker and a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she was in the choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Green and Maggie Parks Verser.

She leaves four daughters, Mary Gaston (and Leroy) Stanley of Seffner, Fla., Christine Gaston Moore of Blytheville, Barbara Gaston (and Barry) Johnson of Memphis, and Delois Gaston Lewis (in Sprit);

A son, Kendrick S. (and Majah) Gaston of Atlanta, Ga.;

Two sisters, Zeopha Phillips of Widner and Annie (and Melvin) Thomas of St. Louis;

A special niece, Oleeya (and Fred) Smith of Blytheville;

A brother, Nathaniel Verser of Forrest City; and

Six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, July 3, 2014, at St. Paul M.B. Church with burial following in Memory Gardens Cemetery with Pastors Larry Guyton and Johnny Moore officiating.
