Eunice Morgan Ray

Mrs. Eunice Morgan Ray, 91, went to be with the Lord Monday, June 16, 2014.

She was born Sept. 9, 1922, to John Morgan and Grace Penion Morgan Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Freddie B. Ray, who she married on October 9, 1936; one son Thomas H. Ray; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ray leaves her children, Fred and Leeta Ray, Christeen Hayes, Ella Sommers, Joyce (wife of Thomas), Ed and Dianne Ray, Jerry and Cathey Ray, Gracie and Doug Krueger, Jenny and James Howard, Brenda and Phillip Reed, Shirley and Terry Dick and Deborah and Tom Houlihan; and

Fourty-six grandchildren, 98 great-grandchildren and 40 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation services were held Thursday and a memorial service was held Friday. She will be laid to rest at 10 a.m. Monday at Dogwood Cemetery in Blytheville.
