Loretta Bogard
Loretta Bogard, 73, of Trumann, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at the Floe and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born May 17, 1941, in Keiser, she was a homemaker and a member of Willis Chapel of Harrisburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac Frank Johnson and Sadie Belle Johnson; a son, James Franklin Simpson; her sisters, Juanita Hatten, Joanie Mays, Lula Mae Jackson and Goldie Fay McColley; and brothers, James Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Sidney Johnson and Tommy Johnson.
Ms. Bogard leaves three daughters, Judy Browder, Elizabeth Tice and Sherry Elliot, all of Trumann;
Three sons, Carl Simpson of Trumann, Charles Simpson of Lynn and Melvin Lee Pickle of Vilonia;
One brother, Johnny Guy Johnson;
Forty-four grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren; and
One great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Larry Gene Bogard, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Tyronza Cemetery.
