Keith Metheny

Mr. Keith Metheny, 54 of Cardwell, Mo., passed from this life Friday May 9, 2014, at his home. Born in Leachville, he was the son of the late Jim and Barbara Leonard Metheny and had been a lifelong resident of the Leachville and Cardwell areas. A 1977 graduate of Leachville High School, he worked many years as a mechanic for Baker Implement Company in Arbyrd, Mo., and also co-owned and operated Metheny's Midway Station along with his brother, Kevin.

Survivors include his wife, Doreen Horvath Metheny of the home;

One son, Zach Metheny of Brookland;

A grandson, Elliot Metheny;

One brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Sheila Metheny of Leachville; and

One niece, Keila Lynn Metheny, and one nephew, Kevin Lynn Metheny II.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014, in the Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville. Guests may register at HowardFuneralService.com
