Warren Hardy Sulcer

Warren Hardy Sulcer, 96, of Marked Tree, died Saturday, April 6, 2014, at Northeast Arkansas Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Born March 14, 1918, in Palestine, he was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army from World War II, and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Payneway.

He was preceded in death by his parents, M.F. Sulcer and Nannie Sulcer; his wife Doris Sulcer; a sister Estelle McClendon; brothers Kenneth Sulcer, James Sulcer, Ariel Sulcer, Mack Sulcer and Richard Dale Sulcer; and three step-daughters.

Mr. Sulcer leaves two daughters, Patricia (and Ronnie) Kirkpatrick of Marked Tree, and Sherry Lee;

One step-daughter;

Two step-sons;

One sister, Joann Baker of North Little Rock; and

One brother, Curtis Lee Sulcer of Osceola.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Glen Hurst, will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19. Burial will follow at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
