"Bubba" Leonard Cook

"Bubba" Leonard Cook, 47, of Blytheville, went to be with our Lord, Thursday March 27, 2014, at Great River Medical Center. He was born April 29, 1966, in Blytheville.

He was a transmission mechanic. Bubba loved the outdoors, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He would do anything he could for you.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary "Sissie" Cook; his father, Leonard Coy Cook Jr.; his brother, Phillip Parish; and his sister, Janie Schincke.

Survivors include his son, Thaxton Cook; and his daughter, Jessica Cook, both of Russellville, Ala.; one brother, Roger Parish and his wife Patty of Dixon Mo; four sisters, Debbie Perkins and her husband Daniel of Cabot, Susie Minyard and her husband Charles of Blytheville, Kay Emerson of Blytheville, and Ann Bachuss of Russellville; 15 nieces and nephews, 16 great-nieces and nephews, five great-great-nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bubba also leaves behind a host of life time friends, and a very special life long friend, "his honey," Michael Cole of Blytheville.
