James Wilburn Hamm

Mr. James Wilburn Hamm, 65, of Blytheville, died Monday, March 17, 2014, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born Oct. 2, 1948, to the late Tommy Lee Hamm and Ruby Ester Randolph Hamm, he was a retired farmer and a member of Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Pocahontas.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Gene Hamm, Bobby Ray Hamm and Chester Lee Hamm.

Mr. Hamm leaves his wife, Linda Hamm of Leachville;

Two daughters, Patricia Murphy of Pocahontas and Tammy Cole of Trumann;

Three sons, James M. Hamm of Caraway, Matthew Hamm of Muskegon, Mich., and Allen Hamm of Leachville;

Six sisters, Joyce Hymans of West Memphis, Peggy Ivy of Winterhaven, Fla., Kathy Conaser of Minnesota, Wilma Wilkerson of Florida, Laverne Kennedy of New Albany, Miss., and Patsy Hurt of Manilla;

One brother, Jackie Hamm of Manila; and

Four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza with Bro. Marvin Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Bassett Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from from 6-8 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza.
