Arturo Gonzalez Garcia

Arturo Gonzalez Garcia, 20, of Manila, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, from injuries received in an auto accident near Manila. Born in Blytheville, he was a lifelong Manila resident and a 2012 graduate of Manila High School where he played football and baseball. He was currently a student in the aviation maintenance program at Arkansas Northeastern College in Blytheville and was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church in Jonesboro.

He is survived by his parents, Jose' Luis Gonzalez and Victoria Gonzalez Garcia of Manila;

One brother, Jose' Luis Gonzalez Jr. of Manila;

One sister, Tanya Ivonne Gonzalez of Manila; and

His grandparents, Jesus Garcia and Enriqueta Juarez of Lepanto.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with the Rev. Randy Day officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Guests may register at www.HowardFuneralService.com
