Mr. Mackey James Fleeman, 84, of Manila, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, in Manila. He was born in Ozan, Ark., to the late Charles Edward and Orpha Anderson Fleeman and had lived most of his life in Manila. A 1946 graduate of Manila High School, he had served in the United States Air Force, was a prominent area farmer and businessman, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Manila. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Edward Owen Fleeman; and a sister, Mary Olive Hamilton.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Bobbie Roach Fleeman of the home;

One daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Jimmy Farrow of Manila;

A grandson, Jimmy Farrow Jr. and his wife, Kate, of Manila;

A great-granddaughter, Makena Farrow; and

One brother and sister-in-law, Paul Wayne and June Fleeman of Manila.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with the Rev. Ray Dill and the Rev. James Chipman officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jim Ed Robins, Jim Thieme, Doyle McCallie, Eddie Malone, Gene Adams and Danny Fleeman. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry "Whiz" Davis, William Knight, Carl Brooks, Clifford Browning and Johnny Boyd. The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m.-noon Monday at the funeral home.
