What are you thankful for?

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

The Blytheville Courier News is asking local residents to share what they are thankful for this year by jotting down a few words to create a visual representation of the things for which they are most grateful.

Selected photos will be included in the Thanksgiving Day edition of the CN.

Here's a few tips for those submitting photos:

-- Use a large sheet of paper, at least 11-by-17, and be sure to write with a thick, bold marker.

-- Be clear. Write big. Fill the whole sheet. Make sure everyone can read it.

-- Have fun. It's OK to be thankful for family and friends, but consider writing down more the unique and specific things you are thankful for. Maybe it's something that has happened in the past year. Maybe it's something or someone you appreciate every day. Maybe it's the one thing that makes your life brighter.

-- Make sure we can see your face in the photo.

-- Don't wait! Deadline is noon Monday, Nov. 25.

-- Photos can be emailed to editor@blythevillecourier.com
