Floyd Max 'Bo' Jackson

Mr. Floyd Max "Bo" Jackson, 59, of Leachville, passed from this life Thursday Oct. 31, 2013, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Born in Manila, he was a lifelong area resident and was the son of the late Robert and Lucy Reed Jackson. He was a 1973 graduate of Manila High School, was the owner and operator of Jackson Brothers Oil Company in Monette for many years, and attended the Living Word Tabernacle in Gibson, Mo.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Smeltzer Jackson of the home;

Five sons, John Jackson and wife, Chandra, of Jonesboro, Joseph Jackson and wife, Katie, of Johnson City, Tenn., James Jackson and wife, Rebekah, of Monette, Joshua Jackson and wife, Jennifer, of Piggott, and Jordan Jackson and wife, Jennifer, of Monette;

Two daughters, Sarah Patton and her husband, Jarrod, of Paragould, and Sondra Jackson of Leachville;

Two brothers, Dan Jackson of Mt. View and Jim Jackson of Mishawaka, Ind.;

Three sisters, Sue Bradford and husband, Jay, of Manila, Sharon Hughes and husband, Denny, of Oakdale, Il., and Brenda Chipman of Lake City; and

Fifteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Coy Jackson, Ethan Ivy, Derek Cato, Lavon Patterson, Joey Chipman and Danny Fleeman. The family received visitors Saturday evening from 5-8 at the funeral home.
