John Harvey Loyd

Mr. John Harvey Loyd, 89, of Luxora, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, in Jonesboro. Born Nov. 1, 1923, in Tupelo, Miss., he was a truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Loyd and Mattie Loyd; his wife, Dottie Loyd; and a son, Dwight Loyd.

Mr. Loyd leaves two daughters, Dorothy Allmon of Blytheville and Shcarlote Marshall of Luxora;

One son, John E. Loyd of Antioch, Miss.; and

Fifteen grandchildren and a host of great- and great- great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial took place at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
