Veola Broadnax

Veola Broadnax, 77, of Osceola, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, in Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Estelle Jr.

Ms. Broadnax leaves five daughters, Shirley Bradshaw of Memphis, Gracie Lias of Gary, Ind., Sharon Tyler and Angel Walker of Osceola, and Judie Nance Estelle of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.;

Five sons, Bill Estelle, Johnny Broadnax, and Darrin Broadnax, all of Osceola, Jerriod Broadnax of Fayetteville, and William Broadnax of St. Louis;

Two brothers, Julius Gibson of Osceola and Vedell Gibson of Tacoma, Wash.; and

One sister, Lovelle Coleman of Osceola.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Pleasant Grove in Osceola. Funeral services will take place at Pleasant Grove at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery.
